Buy this 1979 Dodge D100 and take it on a trip down memory lane

This is one of the most fascinating vehicles I've seen today. An exquisite piece of American motoring history which could be yours for a very reasonable amount of money. It is a 1979 Dodge D100 custom pick-up truck and it is gorgeous.

It is powered by a 5.2 L V8 making 240 hp and 340 lb-ft of torque, coupled with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The truck comes with a chrome Edelbrock air filter housing and a new carburetor, and it's RWD, of course.

It has an interesting red paint with wood stake sides and the 15-inch wheels are also red, with chrome caps. Inside, you'll find black vinyl upholstery, with matching door inserts, a stock steering wheel, Jensen stereo cassette deck, Sunpro gauges and an evidently aftermarket sunroof.

It has done 59,000 miles (95,000 km) and it is currently being auctioned off at Bring a Trailer. With two days left, the highest bid is $3,500 which, if you ask me, is amazing value.
