A few years ago Top Gear made a piece on a Volkswagen Touraeg R50 pulling a Boeing 747... all 155 tonnes of it. But now Porsche have had their go.
The Porsche Cayenne Diesel S has been put up against the one of the largest aircrafts in the world; the Airbus A380. Weighing in at 285 tonnes, the Cayenne is up against a hefty challenge. Porsche have managed to pull the largest passenger aircraft an impressive 42 metres along the Paris Charles de Gaulle airport runway, setting a new Guinness World Record.
Porsche GB technician Richard Payne took control of the Cayenne and commented on how he could feel the car struggling but just got on with the task. The 2017 Cayenne Diesel S produces an impressive 850NM of torque.
