Piotr Wiecek is a professional drifter. In the US a few years back he was campaigning as one half of the ultimate Formula Drift team alongside arguably the best drifter in the world James Deane. This year he campaigned solo in the Drift Masters European Championship (DMEC) where he rose to the top grabbing the championship.

Alongside the DMEC, they also have the Drift Masters Virtual Championship (DMVC) which in 2021 DMVC champion Rhys Tatterson earned more than just the DMVC title - he got to hop behind the wheel of the real-life championship-winning machine and got some 1:1 coaching from Wiecek as well. For all the details, check out DEMC's video above!

  • I’ll be honest- I see no value in drifting- and I’ll also admit I can handle the hell out of a car but drifting for extended periods of time is not something I can do. I am also tall and hate basketball mostly because I am not nearly coordinated enough- which is odd as I spent many yrs in a very cool USMC unit but as I type this I recall I had tripped a few time jumping out of planes, I was told by our Arctic warfare instructor that my accident on skis was something he had never seen in 30 yrs of skiing. So I think I may be an oaf.
