    • I can't see why not. I think it depends on the character of the car if it is a true muscle car or not. Let's take the definitive muscle car; the Mustang. Sporty looking car with a big and powerful engine, focused on blasting down route 66 in reasonable comfort. Going by that, I think for example that the Mercedes C63 AMG fits that description and can be called a German muscle car while its direct rival the BMW M3 can not because that is in essense more of a fine handling sportscar.

    • Yes of course they can be. For any American, look up red 1971 Holden HQ Monaro GTS 350 Coupe, gawp at the looks, interior and engine bay, and then come back to me and tell me that isn't a muscle car. I dare you.
