Can the Porsche Taycan Turbo keep up with a 911 GT3 RS and GT3 Cup?
It's much quicker around a track than you'd expect!
Have you ever wondered who would win the ultimate Porsche race between the Taycan Turbo, 911 GT3 RS and GT3 Cup? You probably haven't, but here is your answer and it may surprise you.
Porsche has decided to put some of its best cars head-to-head on track to see which will come out on top. One is fully-electric, the other is a high-performance road car and the third one is a track-only weapon.
In order to test this out, Porsche went to Sandown International Raceway with Porsche Track Experience instructors, Luke Youlden, Tony D’Alberto and Chris Pither, to find out.

Make it 50 laps and see if the stupid Toycan actually has the range to get there.
Strong at sprint, but struggles at endurance.
Sure. It’ll be heavier on its tyres and brakes too.
I'm personaly not a fan of EV's, but the Taycan is just a rocketship.
EVS have come a long way. An electric car would overheat halfway through that video if it was shot 5 years ago
Just as I expected.
Over a race though, the taycan won’t win, the track weapon will
I reckon in the straights the gt3 would get dropped
