The boy's from New Zealand's own Launch Control (Where they use the KMPH System) Recently published their latest weekly video where they attempt to see what variables are needed for a fast run. Ive attached a link to the video below.
I personally have never considered seeing how my RS5 lives up to its stated 3.9 second 0-60 Time. But really i should? I did pay for performance. What these lads did was use a device called a 'Dragy', currently going for £139 on Amazon. It links to the app to give you a great report on your times and where you are gaining the most acceleration.
What i learnt from this video is there is actually a lot to consider, they boys proved that in the Alfa 4C even using the built in Launch Control, people, luggage, driver skills and even what systems you have turned on in the cabin can affect your run. Also finding a valid smooth road with no downward slope to make it count can be a challenge. But they slowly brung the time down and if your cars peak time is something you wish to pursue, i suggest you give the video a watch. Informative and they give you a good laugh here and there. -Drive Tribe
