Captain Sir Tom Moore reveals he was caught speeding aged 98
He even had to attend a speed awareness course
Captain Sir Tom Moore revealed in an interview with Piers Morgan that he was caught speeding at age 98, he is now 100 years old.
Sir Tom said: “That was not fair. I mean 38mph for somebody like me. It was nothing. I went on one of these speed awareness courses.”
Following this statement, he jokingly described the course as “boring” in the interview, which was broadcast this Sunday.
Mr. Moore is best known for raising more than £32m for the NHS by walking laps of his garden at 100 years old. Since then, he has been knighted by the Queen and has brought out a chart-topping rendition of, You'll Never Walk Alone.

My Mother, who is 92, had to attend a course. She pointed out that she had passed 5 driving test first time, in 5 different countries. Then she explained that she learnt to drive in a WW2 LandRover, so knows how to double declutch.
They left her alone after that.
Brilliant😂
I have suggested to the DriveTribe team they get her to a track, then she can top out her BMW. Would make good TV.
Props to this guy. Made it to 100 and was still driving at 98. 💪
He was driving at 100, the ban wasn't permanent he got to drive again
Good on him.
