Car selfies, yes or no?

I've worked in broadcasting for 24 years and have worked with many big names. I rarely get starstruck, I didn't even join in the selfie fest at the Drivetribe event. As a camera operator it just feels unprofessional to harass anyone for a photo or autograph. There have been a couple of exceptions to the rule though, with my childhood heroes - the Wombles! and, my mum's heart throb - David Hasslehoff. That's me linking arms with the Hoff at the request of his daughters (stood behind us), they thought it was hilarious when I said my 'mum' was a fan and were teasing him that he was too old for me.

Nor do I pose with cars at shows, I have face for radio as they say, so it's better for everyone if I stay behind the camera. Besides I usually go to shows with my mate Gem who is an acrobat and fire performer, she loves a car selfie and has me snapping her with all the latest supercars! She's also tiny, really tiny! Check out the Tesla photo, she's sat in the child seat in the boot which is designed for up to 5 years old! (note to self, never have your photo taken beside Gem again, she makes you look like an elephant!)

I post so many pictures of Gem with cars on my facebook.com/worldrallies page that my sister-in-law asked if we were an item! I'm sure no one would blame either of us for giving up on the opposite sex if you'd met our exes but no, she's looking for someone like Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones and well, I'm just happy being me. I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life and it would take a pretty special guy for me to risk fucking that up. I don't now why people find it weird that 2 single girls might enjoy going to car shows and she just really likes having her picture taken with cars!

I don't but, like I said, there are exceptions to every rule and here's mine. Technically not a car but, seriously, you can't get much cooler than that!
