Visitors to next week's Carfest South will have a feast of Grand Prix cars "through the ages" to drool over, courtesy of former F1 champion Jody Shekter.

Sheckter, winner of the 1979 championship, has handpicked a series of cars to represent the history of Grand Prix from the turn of the century. Sights, sounds and smell will come to life as the cars take part in a moving display on a purpose built race track, as expert commentators provide a history on each era-defining vehicle.

  • What a wonderful trip down memory lane. The 1934 MG a real beaut! Brave men that drove cars like those early year versions!! The JPS Lotus 76, has been and most likely will always be my all time favourite.
