Carlos Reutemann was discharged from intensive care unit
The former Argentine driver has been hospitalized in the Rosario hospital since the first days of May
In early May, former driver Carlos "Lole" Reutemann was hospitalized due to an illness. Subsequent clinical investigations revealed that a haemorrhage in the digestive system had created numerous problems in the various organs of the former Williams racer.
Several surgeries have been performed, and doctors said last week that Carlos was responding well to treatment. Yesterday came the confirmation that the current senator of the Partido Justicialista was discharged from the intensive care unit and transferred to the ordinary wards of the hospital.
No news has yet arrived regarding his possible discharge from the hospital, but it could arrive in the next few days. Doctors prefer to be cautious, also due to the Argentine driver's advanced age.
