Cars I wish would go into production
Here are some concept cars I wish would go into production!
Probably all of you can think of some cars you wish had gone into production. For me, some of those cars are the Tucker Torpedo (REAL serial production would have been awesome), the Jaguar C-X75, Maserati Birdcage, etc. But here are some that haven't gone down in history as failed cars yet. Here are some that still have a slim chance of making it. So here we go.
Delage D12 Prototype
1. Delage D12
Ok, so I really like the Delage D12. I admit it. It is awesome. And I do think it has a chance (you can read my post about it below:
But will it actually go into production in 2022? I'm not so sure. Despite my confidence about the development process, production is a whole other story. We'll just have to see about this one.
Devel Sixteen Prototype
2. Devel Sixteen
So, if you haven't heard about this car yet, you have been living under a huge rock for the past two years. This 5000bhp+ hyper-mega-super-duper car from the Middle East has been making headlines since 2018, when it made it's debut. Supercar Blondie actually drove the prototype, although she didn't drive it very fast, granted. But will it ever go into production? It seems we have been waiting an awfully long time for 2019 (haha), when the car was supposed to go into production. I'm not sure how I feel about the entire car's overall concept, but I guess anything with a 12.3L V16 engine (and that looks like a rocket-powered batmobile) is going to be fine with anyone, no matter how they feel about hypercars.
Hispano-Suiza Carmen at the GIMS 2019
3. Hispano-Suiza Carmen
Here is the third hypercar on the list, the Hispano-Suiza Carmen. I had high hopes for this car when it debuted, and still do, but after the lawsuit with the other Hispano-Suiza company, and all that followed, I'm not sure anymore. Still, it does still have a good chance of getting somewhere.
VW ID. Buggy concept
4. VW ID. Buggy
I absolutely love the Volkswagen ID. Buggy concept. It is like a mix between an old Meyers Manx dune buggy and a new electric go-cart or something. I really like it. But despite VW saying stuff about it going into production, I'm not yet convinced. I would really love that to happen. Especially if it was afordable. I would be one of the first on the buying list!
GFG Style Kangaroo
5. GFG Style Kangaroo
Despite my hate for crossovers and SUVs (mostly just because they are killing off everything else good (except hypercars of course (I really hate crossover coupes though. There's no point and they end up more expensive and less practical (whoa was that just three parentheses inside the first one?!)))),* I actually like the GFG Kangaroo. It really sounds and looks like a good idea. So it has a supercar-level power output, and it can go offroad too? That is totally awesome. I guess I wouldn't mind seeing one of these out in the wild.
*Sorry if I lost you for a minute there....
Bugatti La Voiture Noire one-off
6. Honorable mention; Bugatti La Voiture Noire
I know, I know. This is never going to happen, and even if it did you wouldn't spend $19M on it. OK, I get that. But since it is basically just a Chiron underneath all that special and VERY expensive clothing, wouldn't it be pretty cool, and comparatively cheap, for this to go into production, and for people to actually buy it? I think it would be awesome.
Well, I'm done now. If you liked it, then like my post. If you didn't, then like and then unlike it, so I'll know something happened. ;-) Thanks for reading, and please, if you have thoughts or ideas, post them in the comments!
