I recently published an article, well about two weeks ago, saying about which cars really revolutionised motoring, last time it was the Mustang, this week I'm going for something of a British legend, well two British legends. Yep, you're being lucky this week, you get to hear me mumble on about to cars from the UK!

Now, starting of with this article, I'm going to start of with the car that started this company in the first place, The Land Rover. Yes that's right, I'm going to be talking about none other than Mr Defender.

The Series 1 defender.

After the startling success of the original Series 1, Land Rover released the series 2!

The came the series 3, another totally identical monster!

And then, the current defender!

And then onto my next car, the Range Rover, something of yet another British icon!

The Range Rover Classic!

The Range Rover Classic was arguably the first luxury SUV, possibly beaten by the Jeep Grand Wagoneer, but still, everyone has got to love a Rangie!

Then they released the 2nd Generation Range Rover

After these remarkable cars, Land Rover released the 3rd generation.

After this we were then given the current Range Rover.

In 2018 it was facelifted, to give us this!

What's next for the Range Rover?

Well, spy shots have shown us the MK5, looking largely similar to the current model, making it likely to be another brilliant SUV.

  • You forgot the long surviving Defender 90, 110 and 130 (the one we all know, between the series 3 and the current generation). Also I’ve come to like the P38 Range Rover quite a bit recently

    • The series three was face lifted I believe, and didn’t that model include the 90, 110, and 130?

    • I thought they were considered completely different models. Also, according to Wikipedia, they overlapped production from 1983-85
