I'm an hgv driver and from experience that is totaly the truckers fault. Firstly you don't turn in if there isn't enough room to get your trailer round, the BMW was stationary so the trucker would've seen that if he'd taken his time and thought. Also if he'd gone farther forward before turning, he may have made it, but he didn't, he turned like he had no trailer on the back.
1000% the lorry drivers fault, I driven these for 35 years. yes they are BIG , yes they are LONG but as a driver you should know that. If you CAN'T drive them, DON'T drive them. Leave it to those of us than CAN!!!!
