THE BOY WHO WANTED TO CREATE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CAR IN THE WORLD.
Today is Mr.Horacio Pagani's 63th birthday.let's take quick review of his major histoary. On the 10th of November 1955 with a annoyingly baby crying Horacio Pagani was born a family which descended from Italian immigrants a baking in Casilda Argentina.
As a child, Horacio used to spend his time at the shop of Tito Ispani, a local modeler working on naval and aeronautical projects, trying to learn all the secrets regarding the finishing techniques of the fragile wood and on the mistery of his perfect Duco paint.Today some of those models that survived the ravages of time and the indifference of many who were at that time unable to appreciate them properly, are exhibited in the new museum of Via Dell’Industria 26, in San Cesario sul Panaro, Modena.
Most acknowledged achievement
the Pagani has two major huge achievement cars which were Zonda R and the Huayra coupé
The Zonda R had a lap record 6.47 in Nurburgring in 2010 Horacio said it actually this is what I expected and it is the first one has paddle gearbox in Zondas.
It is equipped unstoppable M120 6 liter V12 engine sourced from the race version of the Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR which can produces 740hp mind you this car weight 1,070 kg actually lighter than a Ford fiesta ,besides this speed monster created the fastest Top Gear time lap ever 1.08.5 which is really quick,
Some may ask how quick is it? It is even faster than Michael Schumacher with a Ferrari Fxx he did in 1.10.7 (I feel so sad when i talk about here you know what i'm talking :( ) and let us review Schumacher was in Top Gear.
And next is the extremely Huayra, the name etymology from Armenia the god of wind.Compare with the Zonda this Huayra has more feminine element and four active aerodynamic flaps(front 2 rear 2).This car carrying AMG M158 engine which produces 730hp 6 liter twin turbo charge. After driving this Richard said when i'm in hammerhead i have passed without paying attention.
the unstoppable British light weight car Ariel Atom V8 was beaten by Huayra and it's aero. This was what we never see that coming.AndI have list sorted out all Paganis in Top Gear for viewing easily(PS:I didn't find out RIchard drove Cinque in Top Gear)

HP top 5 beautiful cars
The Jaguar E-Type is one of the few non-Italian cars on Mr. Pagani’s list.
Originally introduced in 1961, the E-Type uses a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout with a 3.8-liter inline-six engine under its long hood. Making 265 hp, the Jaguar E-Type was more than just a pretty machine — it could move, too. Many designers reference the E-Type as a major influence, so it’s not a huge surprise to see Mr. Pagani give some props to this British icon.
The Lamborghini Miura is a sports car produced by Italian automaker Lamborghini between 1966 and 1973.(‘the most beautiful road car ever made’)
It was powered by a version of the 3.9 L Lamborghini V12 engine used in the 400GT at the time. The Miura won the prestigious Gran Turismo Trophy at the 2008 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and has been re-created for use in the Gran Turismo 5 video game. And this is a really froggy car cute and classic car.So it’s no surprise to see it here on Mr. Pagani’s list.
The Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing is another iconic car, the first gull wing door car ever.
This choice must have been made by Mr. Pagani’s inner engineer, because when the 300SL debuted, it was the fastest production car available. A top speed of 160 mph still sounds impressive today, but the car’s 3.0-liter inline-six engine was one of the first motors to use direct-injection. The 300SL was named for its unique gullwing doors, and you can see that inspired Pagani, as the doors on the Huayra fold upwards as well.
De Tomaso Pantera
The De Tomaso Pantera is one of the most misunderstood classics in supercar history.
The combination of Italian styling with an American V8 is something that’s hard to ignore, but many classic car connoisseurs balk at the quirky car. Fortunately, Mr. Pagani isn’t one to deny this car’s cool factor, as he called it out by name when discussing some of the more beautiful cars of all time. Still, this is definitely a surprising entry on this list.
“Wild” would be the perfect one-word description of the Lamborghini Countach, the final car Mr. Pagani outed as a beauty in his eyes.
Granted, you could describe the Huayra with the same word, but the Countach clearly did it first, arriving on the scene back in the mid 1970s with a V12 engine, just like the Pagani. Although the Countach’s six-second sprint to 60 is a laughable figure compared to the Huayra’s sub-three-second time, the two cars will at least be known in history as being some of the most unique looking cars ever built.
Carman Horacio Pagani
While other favourites include Ferraris P4 and 250 LM, Pagani’s holy grail is a highly personal choice: the Mercedes W196 Stromlinienwagen driven by Juan Manuel Fangio.
Horacio Pagani's dream Garage
A Ford GT Gulf Limited Edition. I just bought a Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary, a Mercedes-Benz Pagoda. In Argentina I have a collection of vintage American cars, from Model T and A Fords to Chevrolets. There are some classics too, including a Jaguar E-type, Mercedes 230SL Pagoda, and for his sons a Mustang ‘Elinor’ replica and a Ford GT Gulf limited edition.
Pagani has Paganis naturally enough from C12 to Zonda Barchetta but also that Ferrari F12 tdf (painted in Gold Leaf colours), plus Porsches 918, Cayman GT4 and the 911R. ‘We are waiting for the new one. I’d love to have the Porsche 917, to me among the most beautiful, amazing and fascinating cars ever, but it is impossible for me to buy one. Which is why I have more than 100 models of it, Scalextric and Polistil, to use on my electric racetrack, a present from my sons.’
Porsche 911 R
In 2016, Porsche unveiled a limited production 911 R based on the GT3 RS.
Production was limited to 991 units worldwide. It has an overall weight of 1,370 kg (3,020 lb), a high-revving 4.0 L six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine from the 991 GT3 RS, and a six-speed manual transmission, while air conditioning and audio systems are removable options to save weight. The car accelerates from 0–97 km/h (0–60 mph) in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 320 km/h (200 mph).
Porsche carrera GT & Cayman GT4
The Carrera GT is powered by a 5.7 L (5,733 cc) V10 engine producing 450 kW (612 PS; 603 bhp), whereas the original concept car featured a 5.5 litre version rated at 416 kW (558 hp), 330 km/h (205 mph) was announced as top speed. The V10 was a unit secretly built by Porsche for the Footwork Formula One team in 1992, but later shelved. The engine was resurrected for the Le Mans prototype and increased in size to 5.7 L .
The interior is trimmed in soft leather. Bose audio system and a navigation system were standard. In typical Porsche fashion, the ignition is to the left of the steering wheel. This placement dates back to the early days of Le Mans racing when drivers were required to make a running start, hop into their cars.Originally, the car had a beechwood gearknob, which pays homage to the wooden gearknob used in the Porsche 917 Le Mans race car.
Ferrari F12 tdf
He said “My Tour de France arrived recently. I drove it with a client a bit, and it started to sing. It sounded like Whitney Houston, it sang like Pavarotti, endless long notes. It gives you goosebumps. It’s incredible. When I uncovered the car and saw the Ferrari logo, I had the urge to kiss it. Even telling the story now makes me emotional. It really hit me.”
McLaren P1 MSO
He said “The McLaren building is truly incredible, fantastic, one of the most amazing factories I have ever seen. I have been twice to visit. The details are incredible. I promise you: If the P1 hadn’t been hybrid and therefore weighed 1,400 kilo-grams (around 3,100 pounds), I would have bought one.”
Porsche 918 weissach package
He said “Porsche is the reference point when it comes to sports cars. It is the sports-car maker. Ferrari is iconic, incredible, legendary. But at the technical and engineering level, Porsche is the greatest—beyond a doubt. I own a 918. I bought it because I like Porsche GT cars, even though I don’t like hybrids. But if you buy a car like that, it’s not a rational choice. Why did I buy it? Because I love it, full stop. During the final tests for the Huayra BC at Imola we tested it against a 918. We said, ‘Which car is the standard that others are held up to now? Which hypercar of the last few years has the best performance?’ We all agreed that it was the 918.”
Mercedes AMG ONe
He said “I like the fact AMG is making a car with F1 technology. I will buy one. Mercedes has been incredible in its use of this technology, and it has shown that by winning in F1. I think it’s fantastic that it is producing a supercar with that technology.”
Pagani has Paganis with no doubt
This place isn't just a museo but a collection gallery.Horacio loves his creations. He has kept all model of Zondas and some Huayras including Huayra prototype which is the wooden Huayra for designing exterior.
