CHARITY PLUG
About 5 minutes ago me and my family returned home from a 2 day trip to Inverness. On the way to the ferry at Ullapool earlier we got stuck behind a convoy of tractors and were absolutely stumped as to why. After arriving at the terminal I found out that it was a tractor rally in aid of Highland hospice as some of them had turned up to take pictures upon completing their run. They had driven 240 miles through traditional Scottish weather on old, shoogly, open tractors for an amazing cause and I felt decidedly moved by that.
If you feel inclined to do so I would encourage you to donate to Highland hospice because it is a great cause and apparently nearly 80 tractors took part in the rally so it would be great if their efforts were rewarded.
Thanks for reading.

We were stuck behind them as well!
Did you see the peeps in the insignia that were dodging oncoming traffic. Exciting stuff.
I was busy holding in vomit in a coach
I would have loved to see that. Truly inspirational, thanks for sharing
It was pretty amazing. Quite irritating to be stuck behind until I found out what it was all about
Yeah, I can imagine. Old tractors like that aren't exactly quick!
