The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. A rally derived homologation road car. When people think Mitsubishi Evo, the Evo II not often comes to mind. But this modified example surely packs quite a punch. Now is a great opportunity has risen to own one.
The auction, hosted on CollectingCars, is set to end Sunday January 2nd, 2022, at 2:20pm EST. Currently while I am writing this, the highest bid is 12,500 Euros. The vehicle currently resides with the seller (Alcapone_ on Collecting Cars) in Colzate Bergamo, Italy.
Under the bonnet, only 1,800 miles (approx 2,896 kilometers) have been put on this fresh replaced 2.0L 4G63T engine. The vehicle has been modified to produce 550hp, going to all 4 wheels.
Inside, most of the interior has been stripped away to save weight. Added is a Tommy-Makinen steering wheel, Sparco bucket seats, harnesses, fire extinguisher, and even a spare wheel.
The exterior has a Tommy-Makinen WRC inspired racing livery, on top of Lancer Evo III body panels. Lots of brand are included on the livery such as Marlboro, Ralli Art, and HKS. A homologation historical registration official document is included with the sale. Now is your chance to own a street legal homologation rally car, with lots of WRC history.

Evo 1-4 is so underrated. Used to be dime a dozen in NZ but now living in Australia i never see them (only evo 5 and up)
It's never a bad time to own an evo
In the days of the STI vs the Evo, I always dreamed of owning an Evo, especially the pre-mkVIII versions. Now I could actually afford one if they were still made, but sadly with the used prices currently above their original MSRP I don't think I could ever justify spending new car money on an old one when it would have to be my only car.
