Chevrolet reveals brand new 2019 Silverado 1500
In a spectacular manner, Chevrolet revealed the all-new 2019 Silverado 1500 pickup truck at the Texas Motor Speedway. The launch event was the culmination of the Chevy Trucks Centennial festivities.
A bright red 2019 Silverado was airlifted into the infield of the racetrack near Dallas, amidst one hundred Chevy trucks from all types and ages which were positioned to spell out the number one hundred.
Chevrolet keeps remarkably quiet about technical details, but they did say: ‘The next-gen Silverado will offer an expanded range of models, more engine/transmission combinations and more technology and convenience features to help customers find their ideal truck.’
The red truck briefly shown at the event was a Silverado LT Trailboss, one of eight 2019 Silverado models that will be available. The Trailboss integrates the off-road equipment of the Z71 package and gets a two-inch suspension lift. At the 2018 North American International Auto Show In a few weeks time, the manufacturer will provide more information and hopefully come up with additional images before that.
