Chevrolet Teases The 2022 Bolt EUV
Production will start in 2021.
Chevrolet teased the 2022 Bolt EUV by showing a video of the regular Bolt transforming into an EUV. This new Bolt version will come with a refreshed look for the regular Bolt, which, I assume, will look like the current Blazer.
1. It will go head to head with the Tesla Model Y.
2. GM's hands-free driver assistance system Super Cruise will be available.
3. Production should begin in the summer of 2021.
At the moment, we don't know much about the new Bolt EUV. What we do know is that it will be the first Chevrolet vehicle to have Super Cruise available, currently it is only found on Cadillac models. You can see from the teaser video (Click here for the video) that it will in fact look like the current blazer, and the current Bolt, just lifted slightly.
Chevrolet has not confirmed the pricing yet, but I assume it will be around $42,000-$50,000 (£31,800-£37,850), seeing as the current Bolt starts at $37,495 (£28,382). With this price, it can compete with the Tesla Model Y, and should be fitted with a considerable amount more features than the current Bolt.
