Chevy Corvette C1

Went to a Retro Car Museum in Moscow today. Seen loads of great stuff there, planning on putting together a big piece with dozens of pictures.

Meanwhile here's a little teaser for you, a beautiful Corvette.

It put me in mind of that Corvette / astronaut connection, how all or almost all USA astronauts got a free Corvette when they got back home from space. Interestingly, on the other side of the room there was a picture of Yury Gagarin, the first man in space, and next to it - a Volga GAZ 21, which was presented to him by the Soviet government. A little reminder of the difference between USA and USSR 😄
