For many years, Chris Harris has had a fascination with the Citroen 2CV, in fact he loves them so much he bought one for himself. It is far from Salon Prive spec, but it has a lot of character.

In order to showcase his love for the 2CV, Harris will be drag racing it for charity. Joining him will be his friend and fellow motoring journalist Andrew Frankel who also happens to own a Citroen 2CV, but is a much nicer one with a more powerful engine.

These two have been debating for years which of the two cars is better, so what better way to settle it than in a drag race. So, who will win? The rusty lighter one? Or the heavier and more powerful one?

This race is in aid of the Race for Rememberance held by Mission Motorsport. This would normally be an event but sadly that cannot take place this year so instead, they are asking people to do a challenge, and this is what Chris and Andrew have chosen to do.

  • I reckon Andrew will win it (although I prefer Chris’ one)

    • I reckon Andrew will win but I prefer Chris as a whole (No offense to Andrew but Chris has so much knowledge and skill I actually respect him more than the trio)

  • I'm not sure Chris's 2CV actually HAS a terminal velocity. He will be commencing a 'journey' towards the quarter mile marker, during which a picnic could be had and a visit to a beauty spot on the way. Incidentally, well done, and Chris, your 2CV is just fantastic! Much jealousy sir!
