Christopher Many And His Ultimate Land Rover Adventure
After driving through more than 100 countries in one epic Land Rover Adventure,Christopher Many returned only to head out once again on his motorcycle
While many long for the spirit of adventure very few actually get around doing it. Christopher Many is one such man embarked on an amazing 125,000 mile (201,168 km) trip around the world. The incredible thing though is that his vehicle of choice was a 1975 Series III Land Rover Defender that he purchased for a measly price of 700 British Pounds ($922). Through his adventure that started in 2002 and ended in 2010, Christopher made his survival on a mere budget of £6,000 ($7,900) per annum which he claims to have received from his book deals. His journey took him from the Scottish highlands into Asia over the torturous and relatively unexplored territories of Siberia. From there, Christopher’s Land Rover Adventure took him across the Pacific Ocean to drive through North and South America. But his journey didn’t end there as he then crossed the Atlantic and landed in Africa to drive across the continent, finally to return back to Europe after almost a decade since when he had first left.
