Citroën introduce customisation options for the AMI Including 'Hotrod' livery

Citroën are offering drivers a new range of liveries for their EV, the AMI. Originally producing six packs of colourful accessories, they have doubled their range with themes including 'Jungle', 'Tutti Frutti' and even 'British Globetrotter'. Partnering with design partner Faab Fabricauto, many themes have been released to garnish the outside of your budget city car.

A large problem with EVs until recently has been their lack of personality. Cars such as the VW ID range don't seem to show the 'soul' a car needs to be appealing to car fanatics like us. Even the Ford Mustang Mach E, which has exciting heritage, left us confused and even angry with its name given it seems to share no resemblance, in looks or personality, to its predecessors.

Customers will now be able to add their own special something to their cars with different styles being selectable when you order your AMI. The simple car designed to contain as few parts as possible will be available in a range of liveries to excite drivers' inner nine year olds. Customers in France will even be able to submit their own photos to display on the outside of their car, so those who want their face plastered across their doors and bumper, go ahead.

Prices and fees for the stickers have not yet been confirmed but it is likely to be affordable, in keeping with the principle of the car as a whole.
