CIvic Type R rolls on the Nurburgring
Honda Civic Type R clips a high apex and flips on 'the Green Hell'
There are no shortage of crash videos from the infamous Nurburgring and here's another to add to the collection.
A Honda Civic Type R was filmed racing around the track over the weekend. The 'hot' Civic clipped one of the raised rumble strips at the edge of the circuit, which caused the car to flip over on its roof and slide a considerable distance before coming to an abrupt stop.
The person who uploaded the video to Youtube added that the driver and passenger managed to avoid any serious injuries, though for obvious reasons the car has been deemed a write-off.
The Green Hell takes no prisoners!

I think you're right. Maybe people under-estimate the ring, particularly if they're not used to trackdays?
Oops and to add to the pain that recovery truck just cost him 500 euro :-(
