Clarkson Expresses Just How Much He Adores His Children In Column
Jeremy Clarkson: The family man.
Jeremy has three children: Emily, his oldest at 23, Katya at 17, and Finlo, 21. You don't hear much about each of them to be honest, minus a book that Emily released last year combatting the ideologies that surround teenagers and young adults. If you fancy the sound of that, then click below. I haven't read it myself but it has had some very positive reviews.
You don't hear Clarkson talking about his children much, though. He helped Emily promote her book on Twitter and from photos on his social media it's very evident that he spends plenty of time with them. But he never plunges them into the limelight. Probably because that's the last thing they want.
But on reading his latest column on The Times, it was refreshing to hear him really talk about the relationship between him and his children.
"I have many friends who have gone — sometimes literally — to the ends of the earth so they can have children. And I absolutely understand why," he says.
"Yes, it’s true, you can only be as happy as your least happy child and they are a constant font of worry and stress.
"But I cannot imagine what life would be without them or the fizz I get when I know I’m going to spend time with them. They are, quite literally, the point of my existence."
I think this just stresses how important family is to Clarkson. And it's not the first time this has been reinforced by something he's said. Take this clip from Top Gear for example:
Family's important to the big fella.

If you ever really watched Top Gear, you'd know Clarkson loves his first daughter, he mentions her ever so often
Remember Clarkson's car years programme he had his kids on that when they were Hammonds size. It was the episode where he was deciding the car for the family of the year 2000

That’s so beautifully put,Billy!,and I couldn’t agree more💖😊XX
This is why having a family is very important!
This was one of the highest points top gear achieved. Hearing the big guy being deep and emotional shows how cars affected his life and why he' s so dedicated to his job. That' s my thought
