A year ago we all had a bit of a fright. The tabloids were suddenly flooded with news of Clarkson falling ill with pneumonia and how he was close to death cutting short his holiday in Mallorca.
Soon after this news, Clarkson promised himself that he wouldn't smoke another cigarette - a hard promise to keep after you've been smoking 40 a day for 43 years.. And guess what? He's confirmed today on his Twitter that he hasn't smoke one since then.
So now, as far as I can tell, it's only James May that still smokes out of the trio. Hammond, as a lot of you pointed out in a previous article of mine, is vaping. I've also noticed that he gets a lot of stick over that, so let's leave that out. Anything that can stop you smoking is a good thing, isn't it?
So a big well done to Clarkson for holding off and I wish him the best!
