In a recent podcast Jeremy was on, he was asked what his dream three car garage was for £100,000. Now, for many people this would consist of just sports cars but Clarkson decided he wanted to he a bit smarter than that.

In his dream collection, he has given us almost a single car for every one of his needs. But since you can only have three cars, it means it's a little tricky. So here they are:

2007 Range Rover

As you can probably imagine, Jeremy needs to have a Range Rover in his collection because he has two at the moment and loves them. The one he chose to have was his very own diesel '57 plate Range Rover which he has had for many years and loves dearly. I think he once compared having a Range Rover in the family to having a labrador because they're loved by everyone and are dependable...most of the time.

Nissan Skyline

For his second car, Jeremy struggled to choose between a BMW M3 and a 70s Nissan Skyline but went for the Skyline in the end which I honestly didn't expect. Who knew Jezza was such a big Skyline fan?

Alfa Romeo Spider

With just £15k left, Jeremy knew he had to choose an Alfa Romeo of some description because as we all know, he loves them. HIs immediate response was an Alfa GTV6 which he happens to own but in the end he went for an Alfa Romeo Spider which I think is a very strong choice. A fine car to take the lady to dinner in.

So, if you have £100,000 burning a hole in your pocket and a garage with three free spaces, what cars are you going for? And were you surprised by Clarkson's choices?

What three cars would you have for £100k?

  • Well, I suppose I’ll have to agree with Clarkson on a Range Rover, but mine would be a V8 Classic manual (because I’m predictable), then a BMW E34 525i as a more normal car and then a cheap V8 Vantage or DB7 as a fun car, both in manual form.

  • A bit risky to go on a date with the Alfa Romeo. You don't know if it will make it to the destination.

  • 1- Alfa Romeo Giulia 1750 GT Veloce (1970)

2- Lotus Elise 220 Sport (but my MX-5 is tasty too)

    3- Jeep Wrangler Moab

  • I was very surprised by Clarkson’s choice of the Skyline! But anyway if I had £100,000 my three car garage would be: VW Golf GTI, Mercedes AMG SL55, Kia Stinger
