Could there be Ferrari 812 Superfast convertible coming?
The speed with the added bugs in you face might be coming soon
The Ferrari 812 Superfast could soon be released as a hardtop convertible – and a few customers have already put down deposits for it, according to Marcel Massini who is a member of Ferrari Chat.
It is still unclear whether it will bear the Aperta or Spider name but hopefully that will be revealed soon.
The Ferrari 812 Superfast hardtop might use similar roof system that the Ferrari 488 and the Portofino have.
The last V12 Ferrari convertible produced was the 575 Superamerica back in 2005, and that was a convertible specimen of the 575M Maranello.
There are also rumours that it will have the same naturally aspirated front-engined V12 that will help it produce 789hp.
Even the top speed is expected to be the same at 211 mph (340 km/h), and 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) is expected to be 2.9 seconds.
Ferrari seems to have a lot on their plate right now – a few months back they unveiled the Monza SP1 and the SP2 at the Paris Motor Show.
There is also the Ferrari Purosangue SUV coming later, which is part of 12 other models in the making. We can only expect this one to maybe be coming sometime early next year in 2019.
