This kit comes with the same standard sandpaper and wax. The unusually components are two different size rubber bands and springs. The single large spring is what provides drive for the crawler.

Explanation of how all the gears work to make one set of legs go one way and the other side move in the mirrored direction. The gears that are driven off the main center gear are all denoted with the arrows showing their direction of rotation.

Note: Gears driven off the main gear rotate in the opposite direction

The gears that drive the legs on the right are pointed out with the yellow arrows. They are NOT driven directly off the center gear. Instead they are driven off double tall gears that mesh with the center gear and are shown with the red rotation arrows below.
