Dashcam Recorded Big Crash Caused By Wrong Way Driver. Suspect Ran Away

People driving down the wrong direction is one of the scariest road experiences you'll ever encounter. For this dashcam wielding Hyundai Sonata driver, that nightmarish experience was recorded and uploaded to feed your curiousity.

This event occurred in I-215 southbound in Taylorsville, Utah, where a Dodge Ram was driving down the wrong direction and crashed into the Hyundai Sonata and a Nissan Pathfinder. According to Fox 13 in Salt Lake City, the Dodge Ram was found abandoned when the police came to the scene of the accident. Inside they found a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The police contacted the registered owner:

"The registered owner of the truck was contacted by the investigating Trooper a short time later at his residence. The owner claimed he let a friend borrow the truck for an hour," a statement from UHP said.

Dashcam captures wrong-way crash on I-215; UHP still looking for suspect

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah — A video posted on YouTube Tuesday shows a collision that happened Saturday night on I-215 in Taylorsville. According to a representative for the Utah Highway Patrol, troopers were dispatched to I-215 West near 4000 S shortly before midnight after receiving a report of a vehicle that was driving north in the southbound lanes.
