With the 2018 season almost around the corner, the news front is also getting active again after the winter break, as David Schumacher gets ready to enter ADAC F4 with US Racing. After a first taste of the ADAC F4 race car during testing, the German has extended his preparations towards the 2018 season by contesting his first race in the second round of the Formula 4 UAE series.
"I think the Formula 4 UAE is a great winter program to prepare for the Formula 4 season in Germany, plus driving my first race on a Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit makes it even more special," said the 16-year-old.
In addition, Schumacher has also been joined by BWT as a new premium partner, which sees the 2017 German Karting Championship runner-up behind the wheel of a pink race car. For the start in Abu Dhabi, US Racing have cooperated with Team Rasgaira, with the next round taking place this coming weekend – from 26th to 27th January – at the Dubai Autodrome.
David is the son of former Formula 1 and DTM driver Ralf Schumacher, who is running US Racing alongside Gerhard Ungar.
