We always hear the term "premium car", but can these cars equal true luxury cars? For example, what's the difference between a Volkswagen Touareg, an Audi Q8, a Lamborghini Urus, a Porsche Cayenne and a Bentley Bentayga?

  • Mainly it would be a brand difference, and i think interior materials would get better the more you pay, which are all important imo

  • I think it’s fake because I think of a “premium” car mostly by its trim level. So for the higher trim. They claim it’s a more “premium” car or more luxurious car (which might be true) and that it’s as good as other luxury cars. But in all honesty. It’s not as good as what people think.

For example, if you buy a brand new Honda Accord, and you the touring trim(Top level Trim) you may have got the most “premium” level of that car, but it would be no better than what other car brands would make from Europe.

  • To be fair. I actually haven’t heard of a premium car. I have heard of the Ford Mustang’premium’ package for more tech but never a premium car.

  • I feel like premium can be attached to any car. Kia Ceed premium would be the one with all boxes ticked.

And even though it has leather seats and what not, I wouldn't call it a luxury car.
