Detroit musical artist makes a remix of the sounds of the Mustang Mach-E
The "Sci-Fi" sound inspired the artist.
The new Mustang Mach-E sounds so much like something from an Asimov Novel, that a Detroit based electronic music artist called Matthew Dear, to transform this sound into a song.
Inspired by classic ‘80s sci-fi cinema, Ford sound designers worked with the studio Ozone Sound to craft electronic oscillations that emanate in and outside of the Mustang Mach-E while the vehicle is in motion.
That caught the interest of the Detroit artist, and a founding member of renowned electronic music label, Ghostly International. Dear created "New Breed" , an almost hypnotic, synth heavy song, derived from Mach-E.
Dear considers himself to be a "sound tinkerer" .
Indeed - the propulsion sounds of the Mach-E are designed with "Ready Player One" fans in mind.
The Mustang brand has been synonymous with music in the later half of the 20th century. Rap music, Trap music, Emo Pop, heck, a Mexican brand made a complete song about the Mustang. With "New Breed" , Matthew aims for a new wave of Mustang in music.
Watch a documentary made by Ford and Matthew about the creation of the track.
Also , give the track a listen, and it is streaming in all major music streaming platform. I am not a fan of these remixes but hey, I was curious.
