Did Tyler Hoover leak details on Car Trek 3?
Did the creator of the "dumbest automotive channel in all of Youtube" leak Car Trek 3?
Contrary to what he advises, I can't think of a person that I look up to more than Tyler Hoover, with the exception of my parents. The Wichita-based YouTuber has generated quite the following because of his unique acquisition strategy. Hoover, or Hoovie as he is also known, has owned an incredible list of vehicles that includes a Rolls-Royce Phantom, Mercedes-Benz SLS, and even a Buick Park Avenue Ultra to name a few.
Today, he decided to take inventory on his fleet of 28 hoopties, some are iconic supercars, and some are old land-yachts, one of Hoovie's favorite type of car. After he was finished discussing his 2004 Nissan Quest, he glanced over a vehicle and mentioned that it was for something that "was not on my channel, starts with a "Ca" ends with an "ek"."
The car in question is a Cadillac Fleetwood Limited. Either a 1998 or 1999 model, the Cadillac Fleetwood Limited was a custom built limousine, built by Superior Coachbuilders for Cadillac after the Fleetwood Brougham was discontinued in 1996. The Fleetwood Limited is simply a stretched Deville, which anyone that has seen a late 90s Deville knows that they are already the size of some European nations in their stock form. Still, not to be outdone by Lincoln, Cadillac commissioned Superior Coachbuilders to build these 221-inch long behemoths. Only 781 were made, which makes it one of the rarest land-yachts, which now makes perfect sense why it is in the hands of Hoovie, but the bigger question is, what about that "Ca" "-Ek" thing he was talking about?

For the uninformed, CarTrek is a web series hosted by Freddy "Tavarish" Hernandez, Ed Bolian of VINWiki, and Tyler Hoover of Hoovie's Garage, where the trio each acquire a car and compete against each other in a series of challenges, very similarly to The Grand Tour's challenges, and the challenges on that other motoring program.
CarTrek 1 featured supercars that were cheaper than the C8 Corvette and CarTrek 2 featured heavily-depreciated supercars. The last episode of CarTrek 2 was released a few days ago, and already we have a clue as to CarTrek 3, but what exactly does a 1998 or 1999 Cadillac Fleetwood Limited mean for CarTrek 3? Could it be depreciated limousines? Could it land-yachts in general? Who knows?
And that is where I leave you, because even I don't have a clue as to the details of CarTrek 3 besides the fact that it is happening eventually. I am excited to see Hoovie behind the wheel of a rare land-yacht, as I feel like he will be right in his wheelhouse, both figuratively and physically. I have been a fan of both CarTreks so far and think the trio, and the group of people making it all happen, have done a fantastic job, and I can't wait for the next one.
