Football legend Diego Maradona passed away in November last year, leaving behind a complicated financial legacy. Maradona made and lost millions over the years and I believe the car you see here, a 1992 Porsche 911 Type 964 Carrera 2 Convertible, is just the first of many vehicles that are potentially going to be auctioned off. Even though, for the sake of clarity, this particular model was no longer part of his collection when he passed.
This silver 964, available from Bonhams, was first delivered to Maradona in November 1992 and then sold to a buyer in Majorca, where it stayed for two decades until now. One of only 1,200 units ever produce (in this spec), it is powered by a 3.6-litre, sending 250 hp to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual.
The interior is unblemished, with the traditional five-dial dial dashboard with orange needles and it even has a driver's airbag, a novelty at the time. According to Bonhams European Auctions Manager Paul Darvill, this 964 (with 75,000 miles under its belt) is expected to fetch between £150,000 and £200,000.
"We are delighted to present this quintessential 90s Porsche with its very colorful and unique provenance," Darvill said. "It will appeal to many football enthusiast collectors worldwide."

£200,000? I’d rather a brand new 911 GT3 with change for running costs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
With you on that one, or even a Turbo S
What he ^ said!
Depending what you vacuum out from the carpet and seat cracks, this car could be a real bargain.
Lol :))
Too much $.
I think if it had more of a personalisation factor that made it obvious who it belonged to, I’d be more fond of it
I guess most of the mirror is covered in a weird white dust
