Dodge Recalls 183 New Challengers And Chargers Fitted With The Wrong Wheels
In one of the most embarrassing automotive mishaps of 2019, Dodge was forced to quietly order a recall after it discovered that they fitted the wrong wheels, tires, and brakes to 173 Chargers and Challengers. The offending parts were never offered as a factory option and Dodge aren't shedding any light on how the problem occurred.
The problem was discovered by factory workers who noticed the tire making contact with the steering knuckle. The recall was issued against cars manufactured between the dates of May 28 and September 25. Affected cars are eligible to have the wheels replaced and alignment checked.
