Dodge sold 500 million horsepower worth of modern muscle cars

Since the revival of Charger and Challenger in the mid-2000s, until August this year, Dodge has released an estimated 470 million horsepower in the shapes of these modern muscle cars.

That is impressive, and it proves that Dodge has hit the nail with the interpretation of what the modern Muscle car should be - powerful and cheap! But, to get over the next significantmilestone of half a billion horsepower, Dodge came up with a Power Dollars plan: $10 off every horsepower if you buy a Charger, Challenger, or the Durango.

In short, a 797hp Challenger Hellcat Redeye will grant you a $7970 discount!

Sales of the 13-year old Charger have gone up by 46%, Durango had its best sales month since launch, and even the Challenger got up by 21% compared to 2018. Those are remarkable results!

The plan was so successful that Dodge reached 500 million two months before their estimate. Put a giant banner on a ship. Mission accomplished!

If you are interested in cheap power, better act quickly. The plan ends on January 2nd, 2020.
