DON’T BUY A GOLF! SKODAS NEW HATCHBACK IS A GOLF KILLER
The VW Golf is the 2nd best selling car In UK, selling over 50,000 units last year. A company car favourite the Golf is an all-round good car. But don’t rush out and buy one. SKODA’s coming back to the hatchback market with their new hatchback. The Scala
The Scala’s USP is the amount of tech on board. With a blind spot feature that will monitor 70 metres behind the car. You can also get all of the VW safety features.
As well as all of the safety features and technological features skoda hasn’t forgotten how to be practical, with a 467 litre boot, tables on the back of the seats and umbrellas in the door cards. Not forgetting USB ports for every passenger.
No starting price has been confirmed although it has rumoured that the starting price is around £16,000.
A starting price for a 3-door Golf is £18,340. Over £2,000 more expensive than the 5 door Scala.
I think the Scala looks fantastic. And if you can save over £2,000 for a bigger and better car. I think sales of the Golf will decrease.
