Don’t fear the crimper! I had to tame the universal radio harness adapter to better fit inside the Jeeps dash. Also I removed unused pins and wires from the couplers, such as the dimmer wire, and antenna power wire.

The new radio doesn’t offer a dimmer switch wire on its harness, but has a dimmer timer function instead.
