Doodle of the day: I don’t quite know at what point I started drawing cars - but I remember certainly drawing side view after side view of cars and nothing else. I would spend hours and hours doing them. It started a process of wanting to be a car designer - but there was lots to learn and develop before that point, and some false starts too. Sometimes we want to rush things, to take the shortest route to achieve something - sometimes we only see the end result and miss the value of learning along the way. The good book is full of people who were keen to grasp the end result but struggled because they refused to learn the valuable lessons on route. Lessons such as patience, faith and trust in a God who did things at a different pace. They only saw the end result - He saw the bigger picture. Prayers today for all who are learning, studying, waiting for something long believed in to happen. Prayers for patience. Prayers too that you may know the peace of God as you wait, and the value of learning along the way. #blessings #scribblingvicar
