After I had purchased my car, I noticed something odd with it. Normally I’m a very observant person, I find every single thing about the car and nit-pick. Normally I can spot everything.
However, after purchasing the car a neighbour pointed out that there was something wrong with my rear lights. For some reason one of them is blacked out and the other is standard. ‘
STANDARD
NOT STANDARD
I can only assume that the rear lights on the right-hand side have been in an accident and repaired cheaply as they’re not standard, and this is where I need help. only one can can save the day, and that is Dr May.
I need to get the lights sorted; they just look ultra-odd. It also means that the right-hand indicator doesn’t show up properly which is an issue that needs fixing. And as a mechanically inept individual it seems far too complicated for me to do. The light needs to be standard, and there’s only one person who can un-pimp my ride and make it standard…James May
I’m surprised it hasn’t showed up on the MOT and I don’t want it to show up on the next MOT. Nor do I want the police to pull me over because the rear right hand indicator doesn’t work.

Just a suggestion, if you want the standard lense to replace the tinted one; check 3 things to get it done on the cheap. It will be a 10-20 min. Job to DIY.
1. Local scrap yard, you might get it for a few £.
2. Ebay, you might get a replacement cheap but a bit more than the local scrapyard.
3. Amazon; you'll probably find it but will have to pay closer to a retail amount, will still be about 1/2 what you would pay at the Vauxhall parts counter.
