Meeting at 12:00 AM in the mediterranean town of Cambrils.

A crew of car spotters were waiting impaciently for the cars to come. It only happens once a year and if i'm honest the cars were arriving a bit late, but never mind. When they finally got there, all of them were absolutely beautiful and some of them very exclusive as well. We could see cars as the Lamorghini Huracan, Ferrari 458 and so on. BMW's, Audi's and AMG-Mercedes were the protagonists, Porsches as well, made a very good impression.

13:00 AM Time for a cultural visit, Samà Park.

Samà Park is a historic garden declared Cultural Asset of National Interest and private botanical garden, of 14 hectares of extension, which is located in the region of Baix Camp, in the municipality of Cambrils, 90 m above the level from the sea and 5 km from the Mediterranean coast.

The layout of Samá Park obeys to a composition by axes, ordered by roads, with trees aligned on the sides, or by open spaces between the important architectural elements. The main entrance is formed by two rows of plane trees, over 20 m high. On both sides there are mandarin plantations arranged geometrically forming a square.

To the right of the road we can see a group of oaks of an important size. In front of the house and around its square, there are ancient trees, hosting a beautiful fountain, with a base of rockery and pinnacle with a spout, formed by shells. of marine snail snails and giant clams.

13:30 AM 6 Million pound worth dust path.

As the meeting was located in a non-typical dusty area for leaving supercars, when the tour began it looked absolutely stunning, as it is not typical to see lots of supercars driving arround in a dirt road. We took part in it with our black B8 A4 3.0 TDI quattro S-Tronic. It wasn't one of the most powerful, but it was one of the most insanely torquey beasts. Nearly developing 600NM made it enter into Full-On supercar territoty.

We all made 2 well-organised lines in the dirt road, were we waited for everbody to be prepared, and when we finally got it, the spectacle started.

The special package on the 3.0 TDI quattro version made it look agressive, details like the fully chrome and gloss black grill, the S4 style fog lights , the optional wheels, V6T badges, lowered sports suspension, optional bi-xenon and led headlights, big exhausts on each side and tinted windows were the most significant.

COVERING THE FIRST MILES OF THE ROUTE.

The weather was nice until we started. After a hole month of dryness it decided to rain particularly in that precise moment, but it wasn't much of an inconvinience for us, we felt safe with our quattro system, something that M3 drivers regret a lot in moments like that. At the front a 600HP GTR at the back a mighty R8 V10. All of them were insane and a joy to watch. Even there was a Kia Stinger V6, the all new saloon by the corean brand. Also a pair of F80 M3's and some other special cars like the Golf R Oettinger and the S63 L AMG.

My mind changed completely as soon as we entered into the mountains, now the weather fitted perfectly and helped to make it an even more spectacular adventure. The 488 was fast in straight line but in the corners had to make use of it's ceramic brakes. As I expected the A4 3.0 didn't have any problems keeping on with the Ferrari, it's relentless power and massive torque at that kind of speeds made it as fast as any other one in the route.

Getting deeper into the mountains

The time passed flying, the scenary was absolutely beautiful and the cars too. The selection of roads were exquisite, and because it was quite late and people were having lunch, the roads were nearly empty.

Behind us a 911 and an A45 AMG were following close, behind them an M4 and some other more supercars. A beutiful Alfa Romeo 4C was taking part, unbelievable performance from a 1.7 liter turbo. The fuel compsumption was ridiculous, in sport mode it did an average of 15 MPG. But that didn't stop us from enjoying the trip.

We went through the Priorat wich is a region of continental climate, dry and hot in summer, and cold in winter. In its central sector, the geology of the region is characterized by rocks of carboniferous age with a variable degree of metamorphism.

Precisely on that central sector of the region, known as the "Historic Priory", the vineyard is cultivated. The wine that is produced has the designation of origin (DOC) Priorat. It is one of the most appreciated wines in the world.

1 minute video of the route through Tarragona's landscapes

As we could see in this video, the scenary was beautiful and the roads were as twisty as hell, but great fun as well. All I can say is that it was an spectacular route with insane cars and through the best zones of Tarragona. We ended near a town called Prades, because for us it was time to leave. The others continued getting deeper and deeper into this amazing region.

The weather was getting more challenging, because at high levels the temperature was falling drasticaly and water quickly became snow. Luckily the cars had chosen another route wich went downhill, to avoid having problems. Nobody wants to find himself in a massive supercar crash because of the snow.

Enjoying every minute of this tour.

15:00 AM TIME TO SAY GOODBYE.

We still had at least 1 hour, to arrive at home, so we had to rush a little bit as we were hungry. I hope next year they repeat it. One memorable day to remember.
