Driver crashes, then abandons friend's Huracan
If you've ever let a friend borrow your car then you'll know the fear that comes with that. Questions around their driving style, parking and even the condition of your car flood your mind. However, you'd hope that your friend would be careful with your car and not flip it like the above picture.
The worst case scenario came true for a Californian Huracan owner whose prized Lamborghini rolled off the Angeles Crest Highway, eventually landing on its roof. Not a pretty picture.
When the police arrived on seen, they were greeted with a destroyed Lamborghini, debris and some blood but no driver! The particular highway goes through the San Gabriel mountains which means that rolling a car and then trying to flee isn't a good idea because you won't get very far. The police came to a conclusion that the owner wasn't driving, they probably reached this by contacting the owner. The Huracan looks to be an LP580-2, which means that the power from that V10 was sent only to the rear wheels. Making this Huracan a hard beast to tame on twisty roads. The police have put a notice out to local hospitals but no one had treated any crash victims on the night of the incident. In the meantime, the search for the drive of the crashed car goes on.
