Driver Makes Miraculous Recovery After Spinning On Black Ice
In England we get a lot of rain, but compared to places such as Canada, we get very little seriously cold weather. That means when we do get a layer of snow and ice, the coutry goes mad. Bread and milk is sold out everywhere, industries seem to slow to a crawl, and the country seems to stop.
I can't imagine what Texas looked like when the Bomb Cyclone hit it. Suddenly a place that was used to hot weather were threatened with ice on the road. And this made for some interesting driving. See the following video.
Driving along a freeway, the driver of the Jeep suddenly hits black ice. He hits the brakes, locking up the wheels and starts spinning. He spins twice in a balletic motion before coming to a lucky stop right in front of the car tailing him.
So guys, was this luck, or did he manoeuvre the car in such a way which allowed him to maintain control? Or am I just talking out of my arse? I think it may be the latter.
I've spun on ice, no where near as badly as that, but it still made my arse clench. Next time, I'll be walking.
