DriveTribe and lubricant experts Liqui Moly have teamed up to produce a series of short films explaining the basics of car DIY.

The video series will feature TV presenter, inventor and mechanic Edd China fettling his own daily driver and an iconic Ford Mondeo ST200, performing everything from a basic oil change to an automatic transmission fluid refresh and cleaning fuel injectors. The videos show that with a little bit of knowledge and the right products, it’s easy to save money and prolong the life of your car.

Jonathan Morris, CEO of DriveTribe, said: "Many DriveTribers love to spend their free time working on their own cars and bikes, carrying out everything from basic maintenance through to full restorations. It is great to be working with both Liqui Moly and Edd China to show how much easier it can be to work on your car using modern products."

China is known for his work on TV’s Wheeler Dealers, and more recently as host of his own self-titled YouTube channel, where he showcases some of his more madcap inventions, such as the world’s fastest sofa.

The videos will be available on DriveTribe’s social media accounts from Tuesday 13 October.

  • I'm sorry, but can't you guys do better than have Edd do product promos?

This is one of the best presenters and knowledgeable car nuts around, he should have his own TV program or should be hired by Top Gear, so he and Harris can do great stuff and tech talks, kick out the other nono's...

not this "use this great product I'll show you how" crap..
