DriveTribe is officially one year old, and we want to take this opportunity to thank our users.
We’ve grown to a point where 230m people see content from DriveTribe each month, we serve 1.7bn impressions around the world to passionate motoring enthusiasts.
Our users have scrolled the length of Silverstone Circuit over 6,000 times, and have spent hundreds of thousands of hours on DriveTribe.
The content you’ve created, the comments you’ve posted and the live chat messages you’ve sent are the foundation on which DriveTribe is built - so thank you for every second you’ve spent with us over the past year.
Many brands such as Late Braking and Shifting Lanes have built businesses of their own on DriveTribe, and there are plenty of creators who have built names and amassed huge followings for themselves over the past year.
We’re incredibly proud of the ecosystem that has developed, and we’re looking forward to seeing the next wave of brands, creators and influencers to make a name for themselves on DT.
We’ve learned a lot since November 28th 2016. We know, for example, from interactions and engagements on the platform, that your favourite car brand is BMW, followed closely by Ferrari, Porsche, Ford and Audi, respectively.
We know that when the new Tesla Roadster was announced, the words you used most commonly alongside it were “power” and “F1” - you don’t have to be a genius to work out you’re incredibly excited about the speed of Elon Musk’s new sports car.
Over the course of the 2017 F1 season, you talked more about Sebastian Vettel than you did about Lewis Hamilton, so at least the German won your hearts this season, even if he didn’t win the Championship.
Who knows what our second year will hold in store. We’ll undoubtedly have plenty of exciting new updates to announce, but before that, we’ve got the second season of The Grand Tour to look forward to - so you better get following the official GT Tribe if you haven’t already.
