Hi guys, this is Josh. Even I did not realize it, but we are standing at the end of the decade. 2019 is coming to an end and 2020, with a new decade is coming. The 2000's have been a great decade for the automotive industry.
Cars had to be safer and more environmental while still being appealing to petrolheads. We also have seen the rise of new breeds: EVs, Hypercars, and SUVs, that has brought controversy and excitement over the whole community. The market share of brands have also changed dramatically; we have seen the rise of Hyundai, Tesla, and Alfa Romeo, while Lancia, Saab, and Fiat have lost their old glory.
So, a few Drivetribe creators decided to commemorate the end of this decade by selecting the Car of the Decade. All the polls will be done here exclusively on Second Gear, so join the tribe to get the latest news and the Car of the Decade will be announced by mid December. The Car of the Year comes every year, but the Car of the Decade doesn't come very often. So, stay tuned!
