DRIVING_ROADS: NO. 1

A507, Buntingford to Baldock

Hertfordshire, England

Distance: 9 Miles

Road surface quality: 7/10

Rating: 8/10

To kick off the start of THE_RUNABOUTS journey into the best driving roads, I'm starting with a local one. The A507 links the towns Buntingford and Baldock with a near freshly laid ribbon of tarmac so easy to flow round even bikers love it. And that's, as we'll discover, is quite important to us car guys...

    • Actually do this road quite regularly, wide at Baldock for some overtakes and the tarmac is smooth. Not quite the twisty mountain roads of the Evo Triangle but there is something quite satisfying about it!
