EFX TOUAREG W12 SPORT EDITION COVER: THE SUPER SUV
In 2010, the Cover EFX made a high-performance version of the Volkswagen Touareg W12 Sport
It was 2010 when Volkswagen decided to replace the first generation Touareg with a new version and for the occasion the German tuner Cover EFX built a high-performance variant of the vehicle.
Derived from the 6.0 W12 Sport model, it was recognizable by the new livery and the 22" Kahn RS-L alloy wheels and had been equipped with new stiffened sports suspension.
The installation of the latter was made necessary as the W12 6.0 48V engine had been enhanced with a Cargrapich exhaust system, a sports air filter and an electronic control unit which increased the power from 450 to 500 hp.
The total cost to acquire the vehicle was 140,000 Euros, of which 100,000 for the standard W12 Sport and the remaining 40,000 for the upgrade.
I don't see the sense of all this power on a car of this type, but what do you think?
