Eindhoven will host a Formula E race
The Dutch government today gave consent for entry into the championship
Since last year the Dutch government has been considering the possibility of running a Formula E race in its own territory. The decision was postponed several times due to the international health situation, but today a turning point has been reached.
In fact, five different ministers agreed to host a tender in the Netherlands over a period of between three and five years. Eindhoven will host the race, on a path yet to be established that will probably be located in the city center.
The city government also expressed its positivity to host the sporting event, especially for the profits that local companies would derive from it. The race could take place as early as 2022, but more precise communications will be released in the coming months.
