Elon Musk is always coming up with new ideas and releasing new innovative products, whether it is released under Tesla or The Boring Company. His most recent being a Flame Thrower...

But, in a recent interview Musk explains how he is most excited about his latest project, the Tesla pickup truck.

It was first revealed back in November 2017 and so far it looks like an absolute monster! Being Tesla of course it’s primary outlook is to replace the thirsty diesel and petrol trucks we have on the road today so that we can still have friendly Polar Bears tomorrow.

”like a really futuristic-like cyberpunk, ‘blade runner’ pickup truck”

Elon Musk

Elon is also rather well known for his posts on Twitter and earlier this year he spilled some of the juicy details about the upcoming pickup truck. He said that it would have ‘crazy torque’ and power outlets that could power 240v power tools all day without the need for any kind of generator.

  • I wonder how much this thing will weigh? In other words how far will the truck sink in the mud under the weight of all those batteries and will it be able to winch itself out of the mud before the batteries die? Another pipe dream for people who don't use trucks for their intended purpose. Luckily, one of these will never be used in an actual truck like environment. Another toy for people who never leave the city limits.

  • Good! I've been saying we need an electric pickup for years! Although don't make it so fantastical that it costs an arm and a leg. Just a midsize pickup just like any other pickup, but electric.

  • I bet most of the market for his trucks will be Europe. The Americans here are too dumb to be persuaded.

  • Imagine how nice it would be to have quiet trucks in the city rather than loud, smelly ones
